Cornflakes biscuits are a really nice, easy and delicious recipe. You will love making and eating them; they are so delicious and crispy. Also,you should change the sultanas into the choc chip.
- 125 g of Butter
- 2/3 cup of Brown Sugar
- 1 tablespoon of Vanilla Extract
- 2 Eggs
- 1 3/4 cups of Flour Self-Raising
- 1/2 cups of Cornflakes lightly crushed
- 1 cup of sultanas
- Powdered sugar
Heat oven before cooking to 180 degrees. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Mix together the butter, the sugar and vanilla in a large bowl until pale and creamy. Add eggs, mixing well after each addition until combined.
Fold in flour and sultanas until combined. Place the cornflakes on a plate. Roll with your hands tablespoonfuls of the cookie mixture and press them into the cornflakes.
Place into oven swapping trays halfway through cooking, for 18-20 minutes or until golden. Set aside on a plate for 10 minutes to cool completely. Sprinkle the powdered sugar on top.
