Cheddar Muffins Recipe

Cheddar Muffins recipe is a good idea to a salt breakfast! Enjoy the recipe with your family and add them to your breakfast menu today!


  • 190 g of flour
  • 1 tbsp of sugar
  • 2 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 200 g of grated cheddar + 50 g to sprinkle on top
  • 120 ml of milk
  • 120 g of yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 60 g of butter
  • Pinch of ground black pepper
  • A pinch of paprika


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 190°C. Butter and dust with flour a muffin tray or line with paper cups.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients:flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Stir in the cheese and black pepper.

Step 3

In another bowl mix the liquid ingredients: yogurt with milk, egg and melted butter. Fold them into the flour mixture.

Step 4

Spoon mixture into the muffin cups. Sprinkle paprika and grated cheese on tops.

Step 5

Bake for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
