Apple roses look really amazing and you can’t wait to try the recipe. It is a good idea to prepare this dessert for a romantic dinner.
Two suggests: make sure the muffin mold is greased and the pastry is fully cooked on the inside before removing the roses from the oven.
- 1 frozen puff pastry sheet
- 2 red apples
- 1/2 lemon Juice
- 3 tablespoons of apricot jam
- Sugar powdered
Thaw the puff pastry for about about 20-30 minutes. Pour in a bowl the water and the lemon juice. Wash the apples, remove the core and cut into thin slices.
Cook the apple in the microwave oven for about 3 minutes, to make them softer. Or you can also boil the apple slices in the water in a small pan.
Unwrap the puff pastry. With a rolling pin stretch the dough a little and cut in 6 strips.
Place three tablespoons of apricot jam with two tablespoons of water in a bowl. Microwave for about one minute, so spread the jam on the dough. Drain the apples.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Place the apples on the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Fold up the bottom part of the dough. Roll and seal the edge. Place in a silicone muffin cup. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for about 40-45 minutes, until fully cooked.
